And whilst we are making progress against these, the recent budget reforecast for 2018 has presented some challenges. Unfortunately, it has become clear that we need to make some reductions in our underlying overhead cost base as our current operating costs and overheads are too high.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578343158425987632.post-48394536356154192182018-04-27T16:06:02.215+01:002018-04-27T16:06:02.215+01:00Keep at them. I too have questioned about the pay point, predictably no answer. Also started a grievance over pay protection. As the NPS/SSCL will not or cannot provide me with assurances that they will calculate my pay protection 12 months back at the point of transfer to a lower grade. Also will not tell me how the Will calculate my future earnings to get a sum. Have already tried to start a grievance over the new AP Rota but at the time was told as it did not affect me it could not go ahead. When it is introduced to our AP then I will be resubmitting. Working 5 weekends out of 7 is not on. As for OCS providing night cover another joke with no sign of anyone being employed by them other than the NPS night worker who had to move over to them or leave.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578343158425987632.post-69668920612595125252018-04-26T22:32:19.398+01:002018-04-26T22:32:19.398+01:00Yawn yawn another lamentable excuse ridden occasio...Yawn yawn another lamentable excuse ridden occasional bore from the Napo Assistant. Short is more sometimes. It dragged me into a Wine and then another two to get over the monotone of teacher styled listen to me I am clever.

CRCs did not get the workflows and offender numbers required to meet contract projections, so they cut frontline staff. NO they NEVER instead the truth ill be a better account. They cut staff to make money and money in spades they did. They cut terms and made more money while Napo for all our money did nothing.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578343158425987632.post-21729659487519163382018-04-26T21:37:40.446+01:002018-04-26T21:37:40.446+01:00Well great bye bye working links then hoorah !!Well great bye bye working links then hoorah !!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578343158425987632.post-86770357844179036792018-04-26T20:24:18.109+01:002018-04-26T20:24:18.109+01:00Talk of devolution of Justice in Wales, and the Fi...Talk of devolution of Justice in Wales, and the First Minister has said that if justice is devolved to Wales, it will be unified and in the public sector. I left a few years ago after being qualified as a PO for a decade or more and still was not past the mid point of my scale. Whereas those that had started earlier and whose experience was not remarkedly greater were at the top and several thousand pounds per year better off. Cumulatively that adds up to tens of thousands as the years tick by. Experience matters I would assert. Having a single increment delayed beyond its due date is a further injustice. Underpinning my 4 claims against the Probation Service was their failure to pay the contractual incremental point(s). Interestingly, at the point it was going to Court, the incremental point was paid, on time, on 1 April. This year, they have again failed to pay it and without notice. This is unlawful withholding of wages.

Whilst not in NAPO myself, the response from the NAPO convener stated, this is par for the course. We are in negotiations! Unbelievable. This nonchalant response us exactly why our employers are walking all over us and treating us as they do. I hope you will highlight this issue on the blog. Hopefully, individuals will contact the HR department directly as I have done. I asked for an explanation for the unlawful withholding of my salary and requested that the shortfall is paid into my bank in 7 days from the date of the email. I shall then submit a grievance to kickstart legal proceedings....again. So angry."Jim Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00258147767051200157noreply@blogger.com
